Summer Drive Season is Heating Up for Carriers
Summer demand is here, and with it comes one of the busiest times of the year for fuel transportation. This month, we're highlighting the investments we're making to help carriers operate more efficiently, grow with confidence, and stay connected across the downstream fuel supply chain.
From expanding our leadership team and welcoming one of the industry's largest carriers to the Gravitate platform to accelerating the growth of the Crossroads network, we're continuing to build the technology and partnerships that power the future of fuel logistics.
Building the Future of Carrier Operations
As Gravitate continues to expand its carrier solutions and transportation network, we've strengthened our team with the addition of Ron Ducharme and Jason Jones, two highly respected leaders who bring more than 50 years of combined experience in fuel transportation.
Their careers have been spent leading carrier operations, managing complex transportation networks, and solving the day-to-day challenges unique to petroleum logistics. That experience is already helping shape Gravitate's carrier strategy, product roadmap, and customer experience.
These additions come at an important time as carriers face increasing pressure to improve efficiency, enhance visibility, and meet growing connectivity expectations from retailers and suppliers.
What makes Gravitate different is that we're building more than a transportation management system. Through Gravitate TMS and Crossroads, we're creating the connected operating platform that brings carriers, retailers, and suppliers together on a common network.

Customer Spotlight: Lee Transport Selects Gravitate
One of the Mid-Atlantic's largest fuel transportation companies has selected Gravitate TMS as its operating platform.
Lee Transport will replace its legacy transportation management system with software purpose-built for petroleum logistics, streamlining dispatch, automating petroleum-specific billing and BOL management, and connecting to major fuel retailers through the Gravitate Crossroads network.
As more leading carriers modernize their operations, they're choosing technology designed specifically for the complexity of fuel transportation rather than adapting general-purpose freight software.

Building the Connected Fuel Supply Chain
The fuel supply chain has long depended on disconnected systems, manual communication, and fragmented data exchange between retailers, carriers, terminals, and suppliers. Crossroads was built to change that.
Crossroads is Gravitate's connectivity platform for the downstream fuel supply chain, enabling trading partners to seamlessly exchange orders, dispatch updates, freight information, documents, and operational data through a common network.
Momentum continues to build. By the end of this summer, more than 40 fuel carriers and retailers are expected to be connected through Crossroads, creating one of the industry's largest connected ecosystems for fuel logistics.
Every new participant expands the value of the network by improving visibility, reducing manual work, and enabling greater automation across the supply chain.
Crossroads is more than an integration platform. It's the foundation for a more connected, efficient, and autonomous fuel supply chain.

Podcast Spotlight: The Fleet Lead
Bulk Transporter Editor Jason McDaniel recently sat down with Gravitate CEO Mike Scharf to discuss the digital transformation of the downstream fuel supply chain.
Their conversation explores why supply and dispatch must work together, how rising retailer expectations are changing the competitive landscape for carriers, and why purpose-built technology is becoming a strategic advantage in fuel logistics.
If you want a deeper look at where the industry is heading, it's worth a listen.
